FULL GRAIN LEATHER

At Vantler Leather, I pride myself on our quality and choice of leathers that are locally sourced from a small family leather business. Out of hundreds of leather choices, we only uses full grain leather for all our products. Full grain leather is the strongest and most durable part of the hide of an animal. It is the top layer of the hide that lies just below its hair.

This also means that no pigments are used to hide the leather defects, and in some cases, scratches and marks will be visible on the leather as a natural process. These natural characteristic is normal and not to be seen as a defect but a unique personality. With regular use, your leather will develop an inherent, natural patina and gets darker.

I handcrafted and personalised each leather products to your request. Each pieces are crafted in my home-based studio (aka formal dining room) in the festive city of Adelaide, Australia.

There's nothing better than seeing our leather goods heading out the door knowing that someone around the corner is going to enjoy the sentimental goods that he or she will enjoy for the rest of his life! 

LEATHER CARE

It's super easy to care for your leather goods. We recommended:-  

-  Avoid prolonged contact with water
- Wipe off surface dirt with clean damp cloth and let it air dry
- Avoid over-exposure to direct sunlight as it will darken the leather
- Apply leather moisturiser to enhance the lustre of your leather goods

Leather is such a natural materials that gets better with age and we hope you enjoy the natural ageing of your leather goods.
